Coachella – day 3

To give you a feeling of the size of Coachella here's a collection of statistics (mostly from the San Diego Tribune)

122 bands and solo artists
6 stages plus several dj areas (including a ~75 foot dome)
Music from noon-midnight
Willie Nelson's 74th birthday
100+ degrees Friday + Saturday (only 97 on Sunday) (it certainly felt hotter)
750,000 bottles of water for sale
Water exchange 10 empties for 1 full
759 port-o-lets
60,000 attendees per day
(Unconfirmed) 16,000 campers (including Matt and me)
At least an hour to get through security where the boys' line was four times bigger than the girls'
2 hours for the crowd to exit on Sunday night starting after midnight
